We were looking for a place to have a last minute birthday party for our 11yr old. The Curious Crafter did not disappoint! Booking was easy and very reasonably priced! TONS of crafts to choose from. Atmosphere was laid back and the music playlist was on point. Teddy and Francisco were very kind, helpful, and welcoming. We were the last party of the day and they never rushed us or made us feel like we needed leave. We even signed our kiddo up for a summer camp after the party was over. Truly a hidden gem and I’m glad to have them in our neighborhood!!!

I had no idea this store existed, let alone was tucked away in my own neighborhood, until I went out Christmas shopping this past year and stumbled upon this lovely shop. We had my daughter’s 10th birthday party at the Curious Crafter and our experience was amazing ! They took my daughter’s selected party theme and personalized the decorations and crafts so perfectly for her and each kid in attendance. We were able to bring in our own food and drinks to enjoy during the party. All of the kids and adults had a great time and the entire party went so smoothly. My expectations were wildly exceeded and we will definitely be coming back to this gem of a spot ! Reasonable prices, helpful/friendly/lovely staff, and a genuine coziness that you cannot simply curate. Curious Crafter is an amazing local business to have on the East side !

My girlfriend and I dropped in for the first time yesterday as part of our day date in Madison.
As soon as you walk in, the place welcomes you with happiness. The store dog comes up to greet you first.
Owners Teddy and Francisco are so nice. We did the air dry gnomes project and it was great. Teddy helped us through all the steps.
The owners are so kind and the environment is so welcoming. We had a great time and will definitely be coming back for more projects.

My daughter just held her 8th Bday party there and everyone loved it. The staff, especially Teddy, are awesome. They decorated the area for her where they took the birthday picture. The kids did multiple crafting projects and had a ton of fun. We were also able to cut cake and bring in food and drinks. Perfect for about 8-10 kids. Every kid took the paintings they did with them! Amazing way to remember the day with a gift of their own!
Great experience and definitely recommend it.
