Megan was attentive and caring. She explained everything as she was doing it and checked in often (but not so often that it wasn’t a relaxing experience) to make sure I was comfortable with the products and her services. Highly recommend.
Abbey is absolutely amazing! I had a 90 min massage with her today. She used hot stones, the right amount of pressure and lavender essential oils. The spa is very relaxing and professional.
The front desk staff are so awesome. They made sure I held my appointment despite being waylayed by a crash on the interstate on my way there (stand still traffic made me take an alternate way).
Bree, my therapist, is amazing. She has such great knowledge of her craft and explained how muscles are connected, and their impact on other muscles. I informed her of an extreme sensitivity in my lower back, and she managed to minimize that sensitivity significantly!
If you want her as your therapist, be prepared to wait. Her expertise means she is booked out months in advance! But she’s worth it.
I recently visited this massage clinic and, while the masseuse was skilled and provided a good service, I was quite disappointed with the hygiene standards. The sheets, the headrest cover, and the blanket appeared to have been previously used by someone else. This is not acceptable, especially for a place that should adhere to high hygiene standards.
I noticed many stains on the sheet where I lay, likely from oil used in previous sessions. The idea that these linens might not have been washed between clients made it very hard for me to relax and feel comfortable during the massage. It’s concerning because such practices can easily spread skin conditions from one client to another.
For a professional establishment, it’s crucial to change and wash all linens, blankets, and headrest covers between each client or even much better use single-use only items. This not only ensures a hygienic environment but also helps clients feel safe and at ease. I hope the management addresses this issue promptly to maintain the clinic’s reputation and ensure the well-being of its clients.
I was able to book an appointment in less than 2 weeks out, which is uncommon at many massage places around Madison. When I arrived, I found the lobby space very cozy and comfortable. The fireplace was warm and relaxing. There was hot and cold water available, but some hot tea bags would have been a nice touch. The massage room itself was warm and mostly quiet. I did hear a loud car once, but this car was particularly loud, otherwise I noticed very little outside noise. My therapist, Karen, was wonderful. She listened to my needs and my shoulder is moving better than it has in almost a year! This massage was a gift, but I’m definitely considering coming back in the future. Thank you!
