A Healer’s Hand + The Nest (AHH) is an award-winning specialty spa offering therapeutic massage in Madison, with a mission dedicated to improving the standard of prenatal and postpartum care. More than just a massage studio, we provide integrative wellness services that support clients through every stage of life—blending restorative Eastern healing practices with evidence-based techniques and modern technologies.
Founded in 2007 by Nicole Budeau — licensed massage therapist (LMT), certified prenatal massage therapist (CPMT), certified infant massage instructor (IMI), Reiki Master practitioner, and a trained birth doula (DONA) — AHH was created to improve access to high-quality, specialized bodywork and holistic care in the Madison community.

I had a massage with Tobey. She is hands down one of the most intuitive practitioners I’ve ever met. She’s really great at what she does. You can tell it’s important to the A Healer’s Hand + The Nest that you feel like you get a full 60 minutes of active massage, with the built in extra 15-minutes for the consult and paperwork.
Tobey seems really knowledgeable about healing, managing chronic conditions and relieving pain. I’ve already booked my next massage.
The vibe from intake, to when I walked in was really positive, a great place to go in Madison. I’m glad I found it.

The difference in the quality of care is unmistakable. Their team understands exactly how and where the body holds tension, stress, and discomfort during pregnancy and recovery. Every session feels intentional, knowledgeable, and deeply restorative.
I’ve tried several other prenatal massage options in Madison, and none even come close. During my first pregnancy, I struggled with back pain and sciatica. For my second, I scheduled monthly massages — and the change was incredible. I experienced almost no pain the entire pregnancy.

Kathleen O’Reilly is the only PT you need! I went to a highly recommended PT that my insurance covered…after 6 visits and considerable money out of my pocket, I had little relief! One visit with Kathleen significantly increased my range of motion! She also has done wonders on an old back injury that so thought I would never find relief for!
