Welcome to GoodLocally. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GoodLocally website, platform, services, and related features (collectively, the “Platform”).
GoodLocally (“GoodLocally,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a platform designed to help people discover local businesses, organizations, events, and community activities and to highlight businesses and organizations that contribute to their communities.
By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, claiming a business profile, submitting information, purchasing a membership, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

- The information you provide is accurate and current;
- You will comply with applicable laws and regulations; and
- You will not use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purposes.
If you use the Platform on behalf of a business, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to act on behalf of that entity.

3. Business Listings
GoodLocally may create or publish business and organization profiles using information that is publicly available or otherwise lawfully obtained.
A business profile may contain information such as:
- Business name;
- Address or service area;
- Phone number;
- Website;
- Social media links;
- Business hours;
- Business description;
- Categories;
- Photos;
- Services;

- Community involvement; and
- Other publicly available or business-provided information.
The creation of a profile does not mean that GoodLocally has an ownership, partnership, endorsement, sponsorship, or other formal relationship with the business.
Businesses may request corrections, updates, removal, or ownership/management of their profile in accordance with our applicable procedures.
4. Claiming a Business Profile
Eligible business owners or authorized representatives may claim a business profile.
By claiming a profile, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of the business or organization identified in the listing.
You agree not to:
- Claim a business you do not own or have authorization to represent;
- Misrepresent your relationship with a business or organization;
- Impersonate another person or business;
- Provide false verification information; or
- Attempt to obtain unauthorized access to another business’s account or profile.
GoodLocally may request additional information to verify ownership or authorization and may approve, deny, suspend, or revoke a claim where appropriate.
5. Business Accounts
Businesses that claim a profile may be able to add, edit, or manage information associated with their profile.
Businesses are responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate information;
- Protecting their account credentials;
- Restricting unauthorized access;
- Updating information when it changes; and
- All activity occurring through their account.
You agree to notify GoodLocally promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
6. User-Submitted Content
Users and businesses may submit or publish content through the Platform, including descriptions, photographs, reviews, comments, events, promotions, community-impact information, logos, and other materials (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of User Content that you own, subject to the license granted below.
By submitting User Content to GoodLocally, you grant GoodLocally a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, format, display, distribute, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, improve, and market the Platform.
This license continues for as long as the content remains on the Platform and for a reasonable period afterward as necessary for backups, archival purposes, legal compliance, or legitimate business operations.
You represent that:
- You own or have sufficient rights to submit the content;
- Your content does not infringe another person’s intellectual-property rights;
- Your content is not knowingly false or misleading;
- You have permission to use photographs, trademarks, logos, or other materials you submit; and
- Your content complies with applicable laws and these Terms.
7. Business Information and Community-Impact Claims
Businesses may provide information regarding charitable giving, nonprofit relationships, sponsorships, volunteer activities, local sourcing, community involvement, sustainability practices, or other community-impact activities.
Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of claims they submit.
GoodLocally may request supporting information, modify the presentation of claims, decline to publish claims, or remove claims that we reasonably believe are inaccurate, misleading, outdated, or unsupported.
A GoodLocally profile, badge, designation, or listing does not independently constitute a certification, endorsement, audit, verification, or guarantee of a business’s charitable or community-impact activities unless GoodLocally expressly identifies it as such.
8. Reviews, Recommendations, and Other Opinions
Where available, GoodLocally may permit users to submit reviews, ratings, recommendations, or other opinions.
Reviews and opinions belong to the users who submit them and do not necessarily represent the views of GoodLocally.
Users must not submit content that is:
- False or intentionally misleading;
- Defamatory;
- Harassing or threatening;
- Discriminatory or hateful;
- Invasive of another person’s privacy;
- Fraudulent or deceptive;
- Promotional spam;
- Unlawful; or
- Otherwise inappropriate for the Platform.
GoodLocally may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably determine is inappropriate for the Platform.
GoodLocally does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of user reviews, ratings, recommendations, or opinions.
9. Events and Promotions
Businesses and organizations may submit events, promotions, fundraisers, or other activities.
The business or organization responsible for an event is solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of event information;
- Event availability;
- Pricing;
- Tickets;
- Cancellations;
- Refunds;
- Safety;
- Compliance with applicable laws; and
- Fulfillment of any promises made to attendees.
GoodLocally is not responsible for the organization, operation, cancellation, modification, or outcome of third-party events.
Users should independently verify important event information before attending.
10. Third-Party Businesses and Services
GoodLocally may provide links, information, recommendations, or referrals to third-party businesses, websites, products, services, organizations, or platforms.
GoodLocally does not control and is not responsible for third-party businesses or services.
A listing, profile, link, advertisement, recommendation, or appearance on the Platform does not necessarily constitute an endorsement, sponsorship, certification, or guarantee by GoodLocally.
Any transaction or relationship between you and a third party is solely between you and that third party.
11. Paid Memberships and Business Services
GoodLocally may offer paid memberships, promotional services, enhanced profiles, analytics, featured listings, advertising, or other business services.
Pricing, features, billing periods, and other applicable terms will be disclosed at the time of purchase or enrollment.
Unless otherwise stated, paid memberships automatically renew at the end of each billing period until canceled.
You authorize GoodLocally or its payment processor to charge your selected payment method for applicable recurring fees.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information.
12. Cancellation
You may cancel a recurring paid membership according to the cancellation process provided through the Platform.
Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase:
- Cancellation stops future recurring charges;
- Previously paid fees are generally non-refundable;
- You may continue to have access to paid features through the end of the applicable billing period; and
- GoodLocally does not provide prorated refunds for partially used billing periods.
GoodLocally may offer refunds or credits at its discretion or where required by applicable law.
13. Founding Member Pricing
GoodLocally may offer special pricing or promotional terms to designated “Founding Members.”
Any Founding Member pricing guarantee will be governed by the specific terms communicated to the business at the time of enrollment.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional pricing does not guarantee that the same price or benefits will remain available indefinitely.
14. Charitable Contributions and Community Impact
GoodLocally may contribute a portion of its revenue or otherwise support charitable organizations, nonprofit organizations, or community causes.
Specific contribution amounts, recipients, timing, and allocation methods may vary and may be described on the Platform or in applicable promotional materials.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- A business’s membership payment should not be interpreted as a direct charitable donation made by that business;
- GoodLocally determines how its charitable contributions are allocated;
- GoodLocally does not guarantee a particular amount of charitable contributions;
- Charitable organizations are independent third parties; and
- GoodLocally may change its supported organizations or allocation methods over time.
Where GoodLocally publishes impact statistics, those figures may be estimates, projections, or calculations based on information available to GoodLocally and should not be interpreted as an independent audit unless expressly identified as such.
15. Intellectual Property
The Platform and its original content, design, software, features, graphics, text, logos, trademarks, branding, and other materials created by or for GoodLocally are owned by GoodLocally or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
